SPIN Safe Browser Content Category List
Categories List
This content category list is currently supported by SPIN Safe Browser. Unique numeric values are assigned for each category. These values can be used with Mobile Device Management solutions such as Jamf that support App Configuration dictionary (AppConfig).
You can easily set your list of categories by using Jamf's AppConfig Generator - type 'SPIN' in the drop down list and choose *SPIN Safe Browser | com.nationaledtech.spin

| 1010 | Drugs | Websites with terms related to illegal or illicit drugs will be blocked. |
| 1011 | Pornography | Websites with related content to pornography, sexual content and various adult content materials will be blocked. |
| 1027 | Gambling | Gambling sites that welcome any form of information on the subject of gambling, actual online gambling such as virtual casinos, fantasy sport leagues, and more will be blocked. |
| 1031 | File Sharing | Peer to peer clients and access. Includes torrents, music download programs. |
| 1058 | VPN or Proxy Sites | Sites that allow access to URLs that bypasses URL filtering or monitoring. |
| 1062 | Nudity | Nude or seminude depictions of the human body, not necessarily sexual in intent or effect. May include sites containing nude paintings or photo galleries of artistic nature, including nudist or naturist sites. |
| 1076 | Alcohol & Tobacco | Sites that provide information on, promote, or support the sale of alcoholic beverages or tobacco products and associated paraphernalia. |
| 10002 | Prone to Bad Content | Websites that are normally good but may contain inappropriate images or content that is pornographic. |
| 10007 | Unsafe Search Engines | A community-driven category of search engines that have been found to not enforce safe searches. |
